Internship Position
There are many opportunities for interns to work in a variety of fields at KLZX. Applicants must receive college or high school credit for the internship. The following is a summary of the positions KLZX offers and the skills that we desire in an applicant.
Internship Description
(1-2 interns/2-3 days per week)
Learn the ins and outs of on-air giveaways, interaction with listeners and clients and on-site events. Also assist in updating web site and database maintenance. Learn how a radio station generates money. Must have an interest in Sales and Marketing. Here you will be able to interact with the Business Promotions and Traffic departments. Learn how a radio shows work! Help producer with organizing music,commercials, and other content for broadcast and learn about the daily operation of a fast paced radio program.
